OVERVIEW
The Metro Tunnel creates a new end-to-end rail line connecting the Sunbury and Cranbourne/Pakenham lines, significantly increasing the capacity of Melbourne's rail network.
Key Role & Deliverables

  • Developed traffic management processes and systems to ensure the Project Scope Requirements and Environmental Performance Requirements for the Early Works were achieved. 


  • Managed the detailed planning, design and implementation of traffic management to facilitate construction of major access shafts in Melbourne's CBD adjacent to Swanston Street.

 

  • Led complex negotiations with third-party building sites, Yarra Trams, Melbourne City Council, RMIT and other key stakeholders to develop solutions that considered the requirements of all transport users.
